Facebook at Work Launched For Companies, Beta Release By Invite Only

Working at small organizations can be easier especially if you need a question answered. However, as these companies grow, it becomes impossible to not only remember everyone’s names but also their expertise, thanks to a number of communication channels.

This is where Facebook at Work, which is the company’s new collaboration suite comes in where employee profiles will look like regular Facebook profiles with a filtered News Feed that keeps track of the most important conversation in the company.

So, how can companies access Facebook at App for their interactions?

For starters, you can download the app at the iOS Store but can only be used if your company is a part of the beta that is in progress.

If you look at the app’s release notes as well as the Facebook Help page, you should gain a better understanding about the product itself.

Quite interestingly, Facebook at Work has features such as individual and group chat, a News Feed of what’s new and relevant, Groups as well as the capability of inviting company employees to events.

Of course, you will be able to see shared public content on these Facebook profiles but not content that has been shared privately with friends.

That said, privacy is not Facebook at Work’s strong point since everyone in the company can see messages sent. This means that your boss can see everything that you’ve shared from your company account.

If you’d like to sign-up for access to Facebook at Work, then you can find the link at the Help Center.
