There are a number of factors why it might be easy or difficult to store photos. One of them will be where these photos are actually stored, be it on an SD card or in the internal storage of your phone.
It must be said that retrieving photos from your internal memory rather than the SD card.
So, if you are using the internal memory heavily, it’s important to keep it to only text and calls but use your SD card for everything else – in this case, pictures.
So, keeping this in mind, here are two ways by which you can retrieve photos from either location.
#1: Using Piriform’s Recuva for removable cards
You can find the free version of Recuva over the internet. Once you install it on your Windows PC, connect your phone to the PC using a cable. Once you load Recuva, scan the removable card. Without a doubt, it will find a number of photos on your removable card which can then be copied to your PC.
#2: Using EASEus Mobisaver for Android to access internal memory
Now if you are using an outdated Android OS, then connecting your phone to your PC and selecting USB Mass Storage turns it into an external drive. Of course, this option has not been available since OS version 4.4.2.
So, Recuva isn’t going to be useful here but instead, an option known as EASEus Mobisaver for Android might work. However, this option might require you to root your phone. Of course, the free demo version will help you locate your pictures but you’ll have to pay $40 in order to retrieve the pictures.
